The annual GAIN conference is the largest German science and research career fair in the US/Germany. Early career researchers and representatives from all areas of the German research landscape come together for two days of exchange, learning and networking in a virtual space. The conference program is offered in either German or English.

Learn about career perspectives, research facilities and current science policies in Germany. Network with representatives from German universities, non-academic facilities, grant providers and commercial enterprises as well as with politicians. Also, engage with interesting employers at the Talent Fair.

The GSO will provide free career advice and resources for a career in research and other sectors.

This year it is taking place in Bonn, Germany for the first time. Postdocs from Germany, who are currently active abroad or postdocs who recently returned from a stay abroad are invited to apply for a GAIN conference scholarship. The GAIN22 program will take place in Bonn at the Maritim Hotel.
